Rainy Season

Rainy season (Tsuyu) is well underway in Japan. Lasting until mid-July, Tsuyu brings lots of rain, humid weather and many cloudy days. To avoid mold & mildew, keep closets well-ventilated and air out your apartment when the sun is shining.

A symbol of Tsuyu and the beginning of summer is the Hydrangea (Ajisai).
