Hello Spring!

Spring has finally arrived in Tokyo. While the cherry blossoms are almost over, there are still places to view the last of the flowers. A leisurely stroll from Sangenjaya Station in Setagaya Ward will lead you to a beautiful stream and park lined with Cherry Blossoms. A great place for a picnic and some duck-watching!

Sangenjaya means "three tea houses" and nowadays there are many more! It is a popular residential area for the young & trendy as it is only a 3 minute train ride from Shibuya . You will find lots of stylish cafes, friendly people, shopping streets and, of course, tea shops.

Access: 3 mins from Shibuya Station on the Denentoshi Line Express (Fare: 150 Yen).

遂に東京にも春がやって来ましたね！満開だった桜も序々に散り始めて来ましたが、まだまだ春を感じられる場所もあります。今回はご紹介する場所は三軒茶屋です。三軒茶屋という名前の由来もその昔有名なお茶屋さんが３軒並んであったとか・・・今はもう少し増えているようですが・・・。三軒茶屋は都心へのアクセスも便利で、駅周辺にはお洒落な飲食店等もたくさんあり人気のエリアの１つでもあります。駅から少し離れると駅周辺とはまた違い静かな住宅街でになり、公園や川があり都心にいながらも自然を味わえます！この時期だとまだ桜も見れるかもです。
