Ichigaya (市ヶ谷)


Ichigaya is located in eastern Shinjuku, Tokyo. This area is popular for its Sakura-lined river and proximity to French school Lycée Franco-Japonais de Tokyo.

What you can find in Ichigaya:

- Poro Roca Supermarket: located just beside Ichigaya Station Exit 6.

- Hosei University: located in a 26 story tower alongside the river

- Ichigaya Fish Center (Pictured below): Carp fishing for both adults and children.
