Ichigaya is located in eastern Shinjuku, Tokyo. This area is popular for its Sakura-lined river and proximity to French school Lycée Franco-Japonais de Tokyo.

Futako Tamagawa, Tokyo

Futako Tamagawa (nicknamed "Nikotama") is the area around Futako Tamagawa Station. The station was the site of the first suburban department store in Japan, Tamagawa Takashimaya, opened in 1969.

二子玉川駅周辺に広がる二子玉川（ニコタマ）エリアには、シンボルとなる玉川高島屋があり、この高島屋は１９６９年にオープンした郊外では初となる大型デパートでもあります。

The river running between Futako-Tamagawa and Futako-Shinchi Stations is a popular area with residents for picnics.
