Located just a short walk from Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Mid Town, The National Art Center, Tokyo does not have a permanent collection, but hosts many international art exhibitions.

The building itself is worth a visit. Designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, it opened in January, 2007. The building contains 14,000sqm of exhibition space, a souvenir shop, French restaurant and cafes to relax in after viewing the exhibits.
Access: Nogizaka Station (Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line). Take Exit 6 for direct access to the center.
Hours: Open 10:00 to 18:00 (Fridays until 20:00). Closed Tuesdays.
Admission: Priced by exhibition.
